That was a lovely way to remember her.

I do not plan on calling you Frosty, though I enjoy hearing such stories of your youth.

Love you Dad.avanderspiegelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14273515902801264224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1314891989988625697.post-92149163215285996292010-10-21T11:41:42.657-04:002010-10-21T11:41:42.657-04:00Ken Howser sent me a link to "Memorial",...Ken Howser sent me a link to "Memorial", which I assumed was going to be a site for contributions. I was, instead, directed to your beautifully written piece on Anna. Thank you for putting into words (and onto "paper") this lovely remembrance. Anna and Connie had been keeping all of us up-to-date on the various class reunions through the years, and especially those recently being held yearly in September. But I have been coming to Damascus in October for the last several years and always thought there would be plenty of time to catch up with everyone in the future. Your words will surely help me pull together the many random thoughts I've been having about Anna and all the classmates I have lost touch with. How quickly the years pass and how easy it is to think, "Oh, I'll get in touch with them soon." Everyone has referred to Anna's smile and laugh, and that is indeed what I thought of when I first saw her photo. Thank you.
Harriet (Stipe) Bushgoldkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16330548839281435075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1314891989988625697.post-26457065997187798582010-10-20T16:15:30.571-04:002010-10-20T16:15:30.571-04:00woops, that's Frosty - Bobwoops, that's Frosty - BobAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04132097326643491483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1314891989988625697.post-71369252553648069872010-10-20T16:13:26.993-04:002010-10-20T16:13:26.993-04:00Thank you very much Forrest, for another set of jo...Thank you very much Forrest, for another set of joyful tears. That's very nice and moving. (By the way, the nice gray-haired neighbor named Forrest in my youth was called Fosty). Some things never change much. Guess who handled your class reunion savings account and is the only name on it, and Anna's address book doesn't have Connie's phone number; she probably had it memorized. But I'll get it rectified eventually, ha. - Thanks, Bob NaceAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04132097326643491483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1314891989988625697.post-23531782348650094482010-10-17T20:56:27.761-04:002010-10-17T20:56:27.761-04:00Dad, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your fri...Dad, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.
